We are looking to recruit one Consultant in Emergency Medicine to create a 9 Consultant team. This post is to support the existing team.

At ESNEFT (East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust) there is a significant scope for motivated Consultants to take a lead in shaping the future of emergency care on both a local and regional level.

The Trust will support Consultants in developing a special interest within Emergency Medicine such as Academic Emergency Medicine, Paediatric Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) and Emergency Ultrasound.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to enjoy the variety of clinical practice that comes from working in a busy district general hospital whilst developing their own special interest both clinically and non-clinically.

You will be responsible, along with the other Consultants for developing and maintaining the high standard of care we provide to our patients. This post will be part of the full Emergency Department Consultant rota.
